Privacy policy


This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use this website or place an order, why we collect it and how we protect it. We process personal data in line with UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data (PDPL).

Who we are

This website is operated by VORTEXIA GLOBAL FZE LLC, CWS-1V-228008, 26th Floor, Amber Gem Tower, Ajman, United Arab Emirates (“we”, “us”). We are responsible for the personal data described in this policy. For any privacy question or request, contact us at erguven.orcun@gmail.com.

What data we collect

  • Order data: your name, delivery address (emirate and area), mobile number, email address, the products you order and your order history.
  • Account data: if you create an account, your login details and saved addresses.
  • Messages: what you send us through the contact form, by email or on WhatsApp.
  • Payment data: card payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details are entered on Stripe’s secure form; we never receive or store your full card number or security code. Stripe shares only limited details with us, such as the card type, the last four digits and whether the payment went through.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser and device type, and the pages you visit. Analytics and marketing data are collected only with your consent (see “Cookies” below).

Why we use your data

  • To fulfil your order: processing payment, delivering your order, sending order and delivery updates, and handling returns and refunds.
  • To answer your questions and provide customer support.
  • To meet legal obligations, such as keeping tax and VAT records as required by UAE law.
  • To keep the website secure and prevent fraud.
  • With your consent: to send marketing emails, and to use analytics and marketing cookies.

Who we share it with

We don’t sell your personal data. We share it only where needed to run our service:

  • our delivery partner, to deliver your order;
  • Stripe, to process your payment;
  • the companies that host our website and send our emails;
  • analytics and advertising providers, only if you have accepted these cookies;
  • public authorities, where the law requires it.

Some of these providers may process data outside the UAE. Where this happens, we take the steps required by the PDPL to make sure your data stays protected.

How long we keep it

We keep your data only for as long as we need it for the purposes above. Order and invoice records are kept for the period required by UAE tax law. Marketing consent is kept until you withdraw it.

Your rights

Under the PDPL, you can ask us to:

  • give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
  • correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete;
  • delete your data, where we don’t need to keep it by law;
  • restrict or stop certain processing, including direct marketing;
  • transfer your data to you or another provider in a readable format.

Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. To make a request, email us at erguven.orcun@gmail.com. If you’re not satisfied with our response, you can contact the UAE Data Office.

Security

Our website uses an encrypted (SSL) connection. Card payments are handled by Stripe, so your card details never pass through or stay on our servers. Access to customer data is limited to the people who need it to process your order.

Cookies

Cookies are small text files saved in your browser. We use the following types:

  • Strictly necessary cookies: keep your cart and login session, protect the website and remember your cookie choices. These can’t be switched off.
  • Preference cookies: remember your settings, such as your language.
  • Analytics cookies: help us understand how the website is used, for example which pages are visited and where people click (using tools such as Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity). Text you type into forms is not recorded. These run only with your consent.
  • Marketing cookies: used by advertising platforms such as Meta (Facebook, Instagram), Google and TikTok to measure our ads and show relevant ads. When you complete an order, purchase details may also be sent to these platforms from our server for ad measurement; your email address and phone number are sent only in hashed (one-way encrypted) form. These run only with your consent.

You can choose which cookies to allow when you first visit the website, and change your choice at any time using the “Cookie preferences” link at the bottom of every page. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings, although some features, such as the cart, may then stop working.

Marketing emails

We send offers and product news only if you have opted in. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email or by contacting us.

Links from our website to other websites, such as social media, are covered by those websites’ own privacy policies.
